Kitchen remodel update:
Many of you have been waiting to see my finished kitchen :) As promised, the video below is a look at our remodel journey from start to finish.
My husband Darby & I started demo in late September (right before the start of my busiest season lol). Darby worked his full time job, and then came home and worked another 3-4 hrs each night while he was awaiting test results to rule out lung cancer AND was dealing with a very angry hernia. He is one strong man and I am so blessed to have him as "my person" for life! I was the designated clean up person and helped where I could in between running my appointments & researching Medicare plans. But as always, TOGETHER there's NOTHING we can't do!
By the grace of God, we found out 2 weeks ago that his cancer PET scan results were negative YAY thank you Jesus! He will be having surgery this Friday 12/22 to repair his hernia. We will lay low this Christmas and rest our weary bones.
2023 was an incredible year for me personally, spiritually and professinally. I overcame fears and pushed myself way outside of my comfort zone and survived! I have learned how to let go of negativity, trust God and embrace whatever each day brings wether it's good or bad. I have grown comfortable knowing that whatever happens... all is well.
I am blessed indeed.
